Personality

Warm and compassionate, Aritria is a warm, welcoming woman. Despite her history and what she's been through, she never tries to show the pain, instead turning it into a strength to help support others. However, she's learned that looks and sensuality can also get her far, and uses her sensuality and sexuality to further diplomatic goals on behalf of Ala Mhigo. She's never been one to start a fight, but she will finish it if need be. She's also no stranger of taking control, and being in control is a double edged sword.

Appearance

Standing 5'9", Aritria is your average Highlander height. Her body has been broken and honed through her Garlean Empire training, showing the scars of her past. Olive skin sprayed with freckles reflects her heritage through and through, and only deepens in the sun. Her hair is her most distinctive feature, a dark, lush red streaked with orange, though that's not her natural colour. Her body both shows strength and grace, especially when performing on stage for others in her spare time. A smile playing on her lips all the time, be wary if it turns hungry.

History

Aritria Redwynne was born in Ala Ghiri to Lisbet and Varin Redwynne. A small Merchant family, they provided vital resources between the west and the east of Ala Mhigo. Her childhood was simple, and helped her parents when she could. What she didn't know is that her mother was a Fist of Rhalgr, and when the Mad King sieged the Temple when she was 6, her parents fled, leaving her in the care of a close family friend.However, when the Garlean Army attacked, she was taken in the night, and has yet to see her parents again, if they're even alive. Under the shadow of the Regent Commanders, Aritria learned the arts of combat, both hand-to-hand and ranged in the Conscript Camps. At 14 she was strong enough to wield her first Gunblade. Her introduction to it? To execute her peers, those who failed to perform. It was then that she realized that the only one to look out for her was herself. However, she met a young Viera who she found a kinship in, and they would routinely confide in each other.One night during her 17th year, she was awoken by someone shaking her awake. Before she could say anything, a hand clasped over her mouth. Through the dimness of the lights from the outside spotlights, she saw that the colours this person wore were Ala Mhigan. That night, she was liberated from the Garlean Army, smuggled out, and loaded onto an airship. They narrowly escaped, Army flyers hot on their heels for what felt like an eternity.Aritria found her way from Ala Mhigo to Limsa Lominsa and became a ward of a loving Roegadyn couple, last name Styrnwyn, already with a teen of their own. They very quickly realized that Aritria was bound for more than their small shipping business, the Styrnwyn Shipping Company, and quickly acted to allow her to test out various weapons. She took to the Bow, and once of age, Aritria was able to leave Limsa Lominsa for Gridania, where she began her journey as an adventurer proper. Through her adventures, she's learned how to be compassionate, strong, and diplomatic.As she has traveled the lands of Eorzea and beyond, Aritria has befriended many a person. Her warm, caring smile and attentive personality brings forth trust in others, while her flirtiness could set some off kilter. However, underneath her smile lies a traumatic scar still festering from her time as what could essentially be described as a child soldier. She takes great ironic glee in her training with a gunblade to cut down her former friends, and she dances to remind herself that she is a Gyr Abanian first and foremost.At present, she goes from capital to capital as an Ala Mhigan diplomat, ensuring successful trade for goods and services to help rebuild a liberated Gyr Abania. Now in her 30's, she's put down her blades and scythes and has entered the world of politics. While she was seen with detail for quite some time, the lithe Viera has disappeared, leaving her vulnerable as she finds a replacement.
